The great thing about Evernote is that you can use it across so many platforms that it really doesn't matter what your students may have or not have, they probably have a device that can run Evernote. Even when students have to share laptops on carts, like we do at Bowden Grandview, they can still have access to their notes and are able to sign in via the web app. For Nicholas he was using Evernote on the iPad because that was the technology he had to use. Check out his amazing article on The Epic Evernote Experiment. In his article he explains how he rolled out Evernote in his classroom, to his students, over a whole year. He is what I can only hope to become in terms of a blogger, and a teacher. The article is written by The Nerdy Teacher, Nicholas Provenzano. I then found a blog that changed how I thought about Evernote completely! I didn't have to worry about where I wrote my notes because they were always with me no matter where I was.īecause Evernote has helped me to become a more organized student I feel that it would be a great tool for students to use in their daily lives as well. I used my account for my last semester of school and I have never been more organized. I currently just have a free account and right now it is doing me all right.
